James Parsons IV was born in Dunedin, FL and raised in the Clearwater-Largo area. After moving to North Carolina during his pre-teen years, James moved to Hudson in Pasco County, FL, where he graduated high school at Fellowship Baptist Academy in New Port Richey. James spent a short time in north Georgia, but returned to Pasco County, where he obtained his Gen. Ed. AA degree.  After working various odd jobs, James decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. Upon graduating from the Pasco-Hernando Community College law enforcement academy in 2005, James began his career with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.  In addition to serving in the patrol division, James served on the Pasco SO SWAT team and served as a field training deputy.  James spent approximately 6 years with the Pasco County SO but decided to make a move to the Tampa Police Department, where he finally retired after 10 years.

During the last few years of law enforcement service, James decided to apply his passion for service, negotiation and problem-solving skills, and desire to help those who couldn’t help themselves to the field of real estate.  James received his real estate license in early 2021 and built up his business to be able to retire from law enforcement and serve in real estate full-time, which he began in early 2023.

James places a high value on integrity, honesty, educating his clients thoroughly, and excellent customer service. James is married to his beautiful wife Melissa, with whom he has two children, Rose and James “Jack”. He is a committed Christian and enjoys serving at Nona Church, particularly with the preschool children. He also enjoys strength training, martial arts, and all things automotive.  He is a passionate car racing fan and enjoys watching IMSA GT racing and cheering on his favorite car, the Chevrolet Corvette.
